For Kathleen Forrester, Harmony Homecare is more than a company—it’s a mission to create good jobs and dignity in Coos County.
Born and raised in Coos Bay and a proud Marshfield High alum, Kathleen founded Harmony in 2004 after years in corporate America. What she saw there left a mark: “I worked for companies where hard work fueled executive bonuses. I knew I wanted to build something different.”
At Harmony, she’s committed to offering the best wages and benefits possible—because she believes thriving caregivers create thriving communities.

Fun Fact: Before Harmony, Kathleen had a brush with Hollywood—working in the movie industry in Los Angeles, mostly as an extra. “Being on set was a blast!”
For Catherine Gardner, being the behind-the-scenes engine of Harmony Homecare is the perfect fit.
A longtime friend of Kathleen’s since junior high, Catherine joined Harmony in 2006—first part-time, then full-time, and eventually became a partner. “I’ve always been more of a back-office kind of person, and I love that my ‘boring bean counter stuff’ keeps things running so our team can shine.”
Her focus? Ensuring that Harmony stays rock-solid—not just as a homecare provider, but as a vital community partner.
“To me, what makes Harmony special is how rooted we are in the community. Yes, we help people stay in their homes and offer great jobs—but we’re also there for our schools, nonprofits, Rotary, and any local group that could use a boost.”
For Lonni Corona, joining Harmony Homecare 13 years ago wasn’t just a career move—it was a calling.
After seeking a change, she found purpose in helping people remain in the homes they worked so hard for. “There’s something powerful about allowing someone to thrive in the comfort of their own surroundings. That’s what drew me to Harmony—and what keeps me here.”
As Area Manager, Lonni plays a key role in ensuring client care stays exceptional and operations stay smooth. Her leadership also extends beyond Harmony: she’s an active member of the local Chamber of Commerce and Rotary, helping the company stay connected to the heart of the community.
